The holiday festivities won’t be complete without some light displays! The twinkling lights mixed with the sound of classic holiday music is a staple way to celebrate the season. If you’re looking for light shows here in Cobb County, we’ve created an awesome list for you! Whether it be light displays in small neighborhoods or the biggest show in the world, there’s something for your family to enjoy!

Lights of Life

1269 Barclay Circle, Marietta, GA

If you want to see more than one million lights, don’t forget to visit Lights of Life! The 1.5-mile drive around the Life University campus in Marietta will feature a spectacular display until New Year’s Eve. Pony rides, train rides, a petting zoo, and cold-weather concessions will also be available at the venue.

Tickets cost $10 per car and $20 per bus, and the display runs Sunday through Thursday until 9 PM, and Friday through Saturday at 10 PM. Bring your family and friends to experience a ride through the lights once the sun goes down. If you want to know more, visit their website.

Riley’s Rockin’ Christmas

2008 Palladium Drive NW, Kennesaw, GA

Witness 50,000 LED lights synchronized to more than 50 minutes of holiday music in Riley’s Rockin’ Christmas! This residential light display is perfectly safe as you can enjoy it right inside your car. The music will be played via 101.3 FM radio, so make sure you tune in when you drive by the neighborhood.

Riley’s Rockin’ Christmas runs December 1 through 31, from 6-9 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 6-10 PM Fridays and Saturdays. Your kids can enjoy music from popular movies like Frozen and many more! Head over to their Facebook page to keep yourself updated on the latest announcements. 

Lane Lights

770 Fox Hollow Pkwy, Marietta, GA

Another lights display that you can enjoy from the warmth of your car is Lane Lights in Fox Hollow! The show will feature more than 15,000 lights synchronized to holiday music. Just make sure to roll down your car windows to enjoy over 50 minutes of modern and traditional holiday jingles.

This awesome display was featured in Atlanta Parent’s Best Neighborhood Christmas Lights! The show will run every night until December 31st, from 6-9 PM. Don’t forget to visit their Facebook page to check for operational updates!

Candy Rush

250 Cobb Pkwy, N #100, Marietta, GA

World of Illumination proudly brings Cand Rush, the world’s largest holiday drive-through show! This mile-long drive-by display features nearly two million lights! How awesome is that? This is something that you won’t want to miss!

Its highlights include a gigantic gingerbread village, tons of treats, and a 40-foot tall candy cane trio! There are also animated holiday characters throughout the display. This is everything your kids’ fantasies are made of!

The display runs nightly until January 3, 2021, from 6-10 PM. Tickets are available for $35 per vehicle on weekdays and $45 per vehicle on weekends. All tickets must be purchased online as they won’t be available at the gates. For tickets and more information, visit their website.

Smyrna Bright Nights

In the mood to witness several displays in Smyrna? Follow the Smyrna Bright Nights initiative! It’s a new community project that highlights homes with light displays via a fun website and interactive map.

By visiting the map, you can see over 60 participating homes, including their photos and descriptions. This activity is fully customizable, and you can plan the route with your kids! You also don’t have to step outside your car to witness the lights.
