#1 Sleepy Hollow Farm

Opening its gate on November 18th, Sleepy Hollow Farm invites you and your family to have a delightful experience at their Christmas tree farm during this joyful time of the year. At the entrance of the cut-your-own area, you’ll receive a hand saw to chop down your chosen tree. If you need assistance with cutting, you can ask one of their friendly farm staff at the pavilion.

Trees available to cut this year are Virginia Pines, Leyland Cypress, and Carolina Sapphire. Aside from tree-cutting, the farm hosts a few activities which include wagon rides and feeding animal farms. You can also enjoy delicious treats like hot cider and cocoa at their Country Store.

Important details to keep in mind:

  • Cut-Your Own is $10-$12 per foot. If it’s over 10 feet, it’s $12 per foot.
  • The farm only takes cards and Apple Pay for tree purchases. They don’t take checks or CashApp.
  • Admission to the farm ($8/person and children under 2 are free) is CASH ONLY. Admission is only required if you’re not buying a tree.

#2 Coker Tree Farm

For four decades, Coker Tree Farm has been the heart of a beloved holiday tradition, proudly serving the Metro Atlanta area. This family-run choose-and-cut tree farm offers an authentic experience that keeps their loyal customers coming back year after year.

The farm presents a vast selection of Murray Cypress and Carolina Sapphire trees (ranging from 7 to 10 feet in height) and a good supply of premium Fraser and Balsam Firs (ranging from 7 to 12 feet in height) for you to choose from. They provide saws for cutting and also have their elves to shake and bail your tree free of charge.

The tree farm’s opening day is Friday, November 24th. Prices for trees are about $10/ft and about $15/ft for the Firs. Please note that payment methods are cash and check only.

#3 Berry’s Tree Farm

Just an hour away from the county seat of Cobb, Berry’s Tree Farm is opening on November 18th with over 5,000 trees to choose from. Trees are priced per foot, and the average choose-and-cut tree ranges from $50 to $75. You have the option to bring your own saw or use the one provided by the farm.

Tree shaking services are offered free of charge, while additional fees apply for snow flocking. Trees available include Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, Murray Cypress, Cedar, Virginia Pines, and Blue Ice.

#4 Kinsey Family Farm

Kinsey Family Farm is located approximately 50 miles northeast of Marietta. This family-owned operation provides an exciting and enjoyable atmosphere with its numerous activities that celebrate the season. The 50-acre farm offers several ways to harvest a holiday tree including pre-cut, living trees in containers, and choose-and-cut your own.

Their fields are home to about 800-1000 trees for you to cut down. Each tree is tagged with price and height, ensuring convenience and transparency in your selection. This year will likely include varieties like Murray Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, White Pine, Norway Spruce, Deodar Cedar, and so much more.

Before you take a wagon ride out to the fields to select your ideal tree, you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, roast marshmallows, and listen to holiday music at the barn. Just around 40 miles south of Cobb, Yule Forest’s Christmas Tree Farm opens on November 18th. Visit them to know why nothing beats the delightful aroma and appearance of a live tree from Yule Forest. 

The farm has a wide selection of trees of various sizes and heights to choose from. To make your tree selection as convenient and easy as possible, they provide the tools you need like tree carts and handsaws. On top of that, their dedicated staff can assist you every step of the way and will gladly shake, bail, and securely load your chosen tree onto your vehicle. 

Tree prices vary and are based on their fullness and height. They can also flock your chosen tree at an additional cost based on its size. For an extra dash of holiday magic, bring your kids along on weekends to meet Santa and let them have fun at the inflatable play park ($5 per child).

Here, you’ll have varieties of holiday trees, garlands, wreaths, and all the holiday essentials you need to make this year your memorable and best holiday ever.

The magic of the season comes to life as you roam the diverse selection of choose-and-cut trees of the farm. From Carolina Sapphire and Murray Cypress, you’ll find the perfect tree to take home. To make your experience even smoother, the staff will firmly wrap your tree in mesh netting and assist in securing it in your trunk or to your car.

As you browse and choose your tree, enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate and coffee. The farm also allows photographers to hold mini-sessions so you and your family can get those amazing holiday photos at an actual holiday tree farm. However, due to limited parking, appointments are preferred but walk-ins are still welcome.

#7 Bottoms Tree Farm

This family-owned and operated farm aims to provide everyone with a holiday tree that will last for the season. To make your experience more unforgettable, you can enjoy complimentary hot apple cider and even roast marshmallows over an open fire pit.

With a sprawling selection of over 5,000 choose and cut holiday trees on their fields, you’re bound to find your quintessential centerpiece. Trees are $10 per foot and the available variety for this season includes:
