Seven Springs Water Park

Seven Springs Water Park, located in Powder Springs, features two water slides, a splash pad, and a lazy river. Visitors can enjoy various water attractions suitable for all ages. The park also provides picnic areas, food concessions, and lockers for convenience. Admission fees start at $4 while the season pass starts at $42.20.
Tips for visitors: It’s best to visit early in the day to avoid crowds. Proper swim attire is required and no inflatables, outside food, or drinks are allowed.
Lake Acworth
Lake Acworth is a popular spot in Acworth for swimming, fishing, and boating. Parks surround the lake and offer picnic areas with grills and restrooms. Nearby parks include Cauble Park and Dallas Landing Park, which provide additional recreational opportunities.

Tolleson Park and Pool

Tolleson Park and Pool features an outdoor swimming pool with two diving boards and a little splash pad for younger kids. The park also provides shaded seating areas, restrooms, and a playground. Daily admission fee is $5 for kids 16 and under and $ for adults while the individual passes are $50 for city residents and $75 for non-residents and family passes are $125 for city residents and $150 for non-residents.
Tips for visitors: Pool passes will be sold until August 1st or until they sell out. The pool will open only on weekends after July 28th.
Elizabeth Porter Park Sprayground

Daily Hours: Tuesdays to Sundays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (until Sept. 1); Fridays to Sundays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Sept. 6 – 22)

Swift-Cantrell Splash Pad

Daily Hours: Monday to Saturday (close on Wednesday & Thursday) 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Serving as one of the premier recreation, relaxation, and central gathering places in Kennesaw, Swift-Cantrell Park features a 3,200-square-foot splash pad. Elements of this splash pad include a magic mist, fountain spray, ground geyser, jet stream, and multiple sea silhouettes. Admission is $3 per person and children ages 2 and under are free.
Tips for visitors: Splash pad season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day but it will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays until Labor Day. Only major credit/debit cards will be accepted for admission payment.
Chattahoochee River
Shootin’ the Hooch is a must-do summer experience for anyone in Atlanta this summer. Popular entry and exit points surrounding Cobb County are Johnson Ferry, Powers Island, and Paces Mill.
Several outfitters rent tubes, so you don’t necessarily need to bring your own. For example, Nantahala Outdoor Center offers tube rentals for families and groups to enjoy a relaxing float trip from Johnson Ferry to Powers Island or the Class I-II whitewater trip from Powers Island to Paces Mill.
Tips for visitors: You’ll need to pay a $5 parking fee at the Chattahoochee National Recreation Areas. Also, note that the National Park Service will not allow anyone under the age of 5 on the river and life jackets are required for tubing on the Chattahoochee River.
